Elliott Nash Ltd. recognises the benefits to be
gained by following the philosophy behind Quality Management Systems,
such as that defined in EN ISO 9001:2000. Obtaining Certification is the
long-term aim of the Company and to that end it endeavours to follow
the principles laid down by the Standard.
The Company policy has always been to meet and
hopefully exceed its customer's expectations. The Company places
customer satisfaction at the top of its priority list and always strives
to foster good communications and co-operation between customers and
staff.
The partners take responsibility for and are
directly involved with all projects. In addition to ensuring that
projects are completed on time, in accordance with the drawings and
specification and in a safe manner, they are also responsible for
liaising with customers, designers, statutory bodies, etc.
Recognising the importance of health and safety;
last year the Company completely revised and reviewed its health and
safety procedures and produced a Manual that can, in the future, be
integrated into a Quality Management System
The Company also recognises the benefits from a
committed and skilled work force. The Company only employs competent
workers and actively encourages staff to attend training courses to
improve their skills. Similarly the Company usually only employs
subcontractors with whom it has worked previously and whose work has
been satisfactory. On the occasions when new contractors are employed,
they are carefully monitored to ensure that the quality of work meets
the standard required by the customer and the Company.
Materials delivered to site are checked to see
that they are not damaged and that they comply with the original order
and specification. Directors undertake regular inspections of the work
to ensure that it meets the Company and customer's requirements. Any
remedial work is quickly rectified; directors taking responsibility for
investigating defects and ensuring that any complaints are resolved to
the customer's satisfaction.
The
Company maintains a policy of continual improvement. Working practices,
the Company's effectiveness, customer satisfaction, etc. are regularly
monitored, the aim being to improve project management, methods of
working and the service it provides its customers.
